After 14 years of primary care internal medicine, I am now focusing my practice on treatment of obesity and associated comorbidities. My practice is based on treating obesity as a chronic illness — addressing the underlying contributors and utilizing lifestyle modification (diet and exercise) as well as pharmacotherapy. As the program physician for the weight management program, I work with the surgical and endoscopic weight loss programs to facilitate comprehensive care. Also, I see patients independently, outside of these programs.
