Weight Management Program

The Weight Management Program at Washington University School of Medicine is dedicated to the management of excessive weight gain. By applying the most current methods, the program helps patients manage their weight and reduce the medical risks linked with being overweight.

Participants in the Weight Management Program come to us from all lifestyles and careers, and include health care workers, business professionals, teachers, engineers, mechanics, retirees and students, to name a few.  All share a desire to find more enjoyment in life through healthy weight management.  Managing your weight successfully is a lifelong commitment.

The Weight Management Program at Washington University School of Medicine offers a multidisciplinary approach to help you achieve your goal.

Some very common reasons why individuals join our program include:

  • A history of unsuccessful dieting
  • Medical complications requiring weight loss
  • Weight-induced limitations in physical activity
  • A desire to implement enduring lifestyle changes to maintain a healthy weight

Washington University School of Medicine takes your health and wellness seriously. Due to COVID-19, we are suspending the Weight Management Program, including the orientation sessions.  If you are interested in the program, please review the information in the links below and let us know if you have any questions.  Thank you for your patience.
