July 15 – Nov 14: Apply to July 2019 application cycle programs
September: Match Opens
September – November: Geriatric Fellowship Interviews
December: Match Day
May 31: ERAS PostOffice closes
July 1: Fellowship training begins

Your ERAS application should include the following:
- A completed ERAS Application
- A current Curriculum Vitae
- A one-page personal statement
- Three letters of recommendation (including one from your past or current program director)
- Photo (optional)
Prior to appointment in the program, fellows should have completed a three-year ACGME-accredited internal medicine or family medicine residency; or RCPSC accredited internal medicine residency or CFPC-accredited family medicine residency located in Canada.
Interviews will be arranged by invitation only following review of completed applications.
Interviews are held on Mondays between September and November for appointments starting the following July. The Division of Geriatrics and Nutritional Science provides dinner with the Program Director, current fellows and the applicant the Sunday evening prior to the interview day, hotel accommodations, lunch the day of the interview and up to $300 for reimbursement of travel expenses.
